I took my family and friends to celebrate my 30th at Punjabi By Nature International, Paddington. The food and the service never disappoints and even convinced the sceptical friends. Great selection, great flavours, great everything!

As a chef searching for a good curry in Australia you can't go wrong with this restaurant. Flavours, tastes and textures all excellent. This is the best place for a curry out of England! Being BYO is also a plus with a bottle shop just across the road in case you forget. Very friendly owner and staff, it's a fantastic night out.

I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a great meal, great service, and relaxing atmosphere and the best is that the bottlo is across the road. Our waitress was very professional and our food was to die for. We ordered lamb Shanks special Wow it was so tender and tasty and the Vindaloo (we asked for hot) was just right. I would have to say it is the best Indian meal I have ever had. I definitely will be coming to this hidden treasure again soon!

Being a Health Expert I always choose my food as in accord with taste and health. Punjabi by Nature International has mastered the delicate balance between taste, health and ambience. Its obvious that the Chef loves food and cooking as his food not only tastes delicious but also lifts the spirit. Well done 10 out of 10

I dined at Punjabi By Nature International with my sister tonight 26th March 2010 and we had a great time! (Had to write a review straight away!). I live nearby in paddington so we just strolled down and at 7 pm the restaurant was empty but packed by 7:30 pm, so get in early! Service was attentive, friendly and quick. Maybe a little too quick but can't complain about that! After we asked for a few more minutes to decide, our lovely waiter came back shortly after (not like the hours at some restaurants where you fear you'll never see them again). We had the Vegetable Samosa for entree and then the Chicken Tikka Masala, and Lamb Saag Wala (spinach). We had to order rice separately but I think that's now the norm at most indian restaurants. The Garlic Nann was yummy and you could actually taste the garlic. The Raita was good too. I always forget to order it, so lucky my sis was there! It is a little bit pricey for indian but considering everything I think it was worth it. I had to mark ambience down a little because it is on quite a major road but at the same time that makes people watching quite fun. While we were there a guy came racing down the road on a skateboard which was quite funny. I guess you had to be there! Overall we had a great time and the staff looked after us. The owner was lovely and we had a good laugh! Food was so yummy! Definitely order the Lamb Saag Wala! It's divine!

To dine at any chic, cosy and pleasant Restaurant is always an extremely enjoyable experience. However, when it is the very first Week (and the virgin Saturday night) of such a venture being open to the Public it is even more thrilling a dining experience. When my colleague and I decided to experience the pleasure of Punjabi by Nature International Pty Ltd at 102 Latrobe Terrace in Paddington we were definitely not disappointed. To say that this place is intimate would be somewhat of an understatement. It is a highly agreeable dining experience that begs to be sampled by any discerning Brisbane (and travelling) diner! Where do I begin to praise this lovely Restaurant? Perhaps, its life-changing Blue Cheese Naan, would be a suitable start! The Blue Cheese Naan, how do I describe the Blue Cheese Naan? This is some of the best fare that I have ever eaten (period), thanks to its unique combination of crunch and the acquired flavour of the Cheese. It would be a stretch to find something more beautiful in the entire world. Plus, the Rice is simply sublime, perfection in the form of such a simple but critical Indian dish. I sampled the normal Rice and with it my companion and I also tried the Lamb Vindaloo and the Kashmir Potato. Both were utterly spectacular and worthy of bragging about for miles around, which was accompanied by Pappadams and lashings of water. Also, it has a wonderful feeling of intimacy that makes it feel almost beyond a traditional Restaurant. The space is very small and very inviting. It feels like a slice of India in the inner-city. Smack-bang in the heart of Paddington (near the Zebra crossing) and opposite Spoon. It is within a hub of vibrant activity. The innovative seating area is small and not what one might expect from an Indian Restaurant. With its white linen Table Clothes and the romantic flicker of candlelight, matched by rounded timber chairs and a surprisingly warm Outdoor dining area. All in all, the praise that this lovely Restaurant will attract will end up coming from many and varied sources. Due to its amazing position, class, the warmth of its atmosphere and the unique, brave palette of its engaging flavours. It is possible to go on and on forever about the incredibly high standards of this establishment for pages and pages, without ever capturing the highly enjoyable experience of simply being there and enjoying the place. My only advice, try it, you’ll definitely be in for an extremely pleasant surprise! Enjoy!
